2026 Webinar: Stormwater Drainage Impacts on Urban Infrastructure

As we enter the 2026 hurricane season, stormwater management is a critical part of building national resilience for Small Island Developing States (SIDS). This session will focus on Barbados and Antigua to examine the challenges in each island by analyzing how stormwater runoff affects local infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and the broader economy. Participants will gain further insight into the expertise, solutions and best practices that have been applied by one of Barbados’ leading Civil Engineers, Andrew P. Hutchinson, in his approach to managing stormwater drainage impact on urban infrastructure.
